The third UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction was facilitated in Sendai, Japan from March 14-18. This took after the main gathering in Yokohama in 1994 and the second in Kobe in 2005, which embraced the Hyogo Framework for Action. Official agents from 187 governments accumulated in Sendai to receive the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030. From Nepal, Foreign Minister Mahendra Bahadur Panday headed the national appointment and I was one of the seven individuals.
Four needs, seven targets
